I like these environmental qualities you defined, I actually see them not as qualities but as natural movements occurring through the site. How does this then inform your design? Will the sand be more of a temporary material, one that users can use to design their own constructions (like sandcastles) or do you imagine it being a permanent building material?
angie: I really like how you are working in different modes of communication - it is very effective in helping to tell the story. I especially like the site model you are working on - it helps to make this easier to follow and understand. programmatically, do you see the materials influencing the design or is the design driven by the nautual forms and then the materials are secondary?
